Brick wall
Just when I think things might be on the way to working out., I run straight into a brick wall and brought to a quick stop. Things happen this week that I just don't understand and am having a hard time with but, they are out of my control and I must deal with it. I just don't understand why people feel that they have the right to interfere with others lives I don't understand. We are here to help each other and not to tear anyone down. This life is hard enough alone and difficult without the support of others. So why is it that people have to tear at each other instead of building up. I know that my Heavenly Father would not want us to be this way with each other. Would you not pick up someone hurt and lying in the street, would you step over him, what if you were someday the one laying there hurt and bleeding, can you close your eyes and image being the one lying there. Everyone stepping over you and hitting you as they rush by trying hard to not look at you so they can pretend that your not there. Not wanting to get involved and trying to make sure that their day isn't disturbed, or changed in anyway. How would you feel, can you begin to imagine the despair the sadness and the feeling of complete loss knowing that as you lay there, that no one cares, or would help you up. The desperation in your soul is so intense that you feel like at any moment your heart will burst. But then a hand gently touches your shoulder and a soft voice says can I help you. Time stops, and you feel this so small warmth begin to grow inside. In just a brief second you say to yourself can this be, does anyone really care. No I must be imaging this, life isn't fair I am meant to be hear, down on this ground. Can I help you up the voice says again and you look up and there stands above you a stranger. Are you hurt can I get you something, they say again. Then at that moment the tiny warm spot really begins to grow and your hand reaches out to theirs. This must be an angel you think. Has God sent one to help me, but as you get to your feet, you see a man, normal looking in stature. This couldn't be just a regular person stopping to help. But then you look in their eyes and in a brief second you see love, hope and faith. The warmth is spreading and starting to fill your soul. Thanks seems all that you can get out. No problem they say, and somehow you know that they mean it. You have seen it in their eyes, you just know that they wouldn't have walked by you. Isn't this what we are here for to be the one with the helping hand , and when we are down the one to recieve the hand, so that some one else be the angel here on earth. I know that I have had many angels help me up in my life and know that I will have need for many more, I hope and pray that I may be there with the out reached hand to lift my fellow man.
